Key Account Manager

Purpose of the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their sales career and make a real impact. Working closely with the Business Development Director you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of high street retailers, helping to develop and grow their accounts by supplying our market-leading products.

You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in negotiations, account development, and delivering world-class customer service. Your day-to-day will involve strengthening existing relationships, proactively identifying opportunities for growth, and unlocking new revenue streams — all while playing a key role in shaping our continued success.

Main responsibilities

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of UK High Street Retail accounts
  • Working alongside the Business Development Director to grow key UK accounts
  • Working alongside the Business Development Director on targeting new UK and USA account opportunities.
  • Supporting on existing USA retail accounts.
  • Coordinating product set-up and managing new line forms to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Creating impactful presentations to support customer meetings and business reviews.
  • Tracking sales orders and ensuring timely updates to both internal teams and customers.
  • Acting as a central point of contact, liaising directly with buyers to ensure clear communication and strong relationships.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability of managing UK High Street Retailers, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance client satisfaction and company objectives.
  • Skilled at understanding client needs, identifying opportunities for growth, and proactively offering solutions.
  • Initiative, honesty and integrity.
  • Positive can-do attitude within a fast-changing environment.
  • Thrives in a team environment, building strong working relationships across departments.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems would be beneficial.
